Security Deposit: A Poetry Collection

Hello one and all - I've been writing a lot of poetry over the course of the last few months or so, and I'm pleased to say I'm finally ready to release it out into the world in the form of a collection. I've tried self-publishing things before to no success, so on this occasion, I'm taking matters into my own hands!

If you'd be interested in reading this poetry collection, you can scan my QR code below and pay whatever you feel appropriate - anything to help a struggling artist! Leave your email address when paying so that I can send you the PDF as soon as possible.

If the code doesn't work, you can find me on PayPal: @liamgovey1

Here's a sneak peak, via the title poem of the collection. There are 62 poems in the collection in total.

Security Deposit

Hear, hear, the cry comes from
The TV, full volume
As sociopath number
One four seven says something

Agreeable to the upper echelons
Of this tight-knit
Community that only
Allows socialism when it suits.

I want no quarrel
With you or any other
As I walk, live, balance
On this old tightrope,

Cool down with relief
At the fact I’m no
Longer working myself
To the edge, to the bone.

Yet somehow a message

Of bitterness and hate - to young -

Perforates this bag of tea.
